Cadets Judo National Team athletes being in Tunisia because of “Cadets African Cup 2018” championship visited Tunisia Directorate of Turkish Maarif Foundation with their trainers Furkan Othan and Erkut Şahin.
Trainer Furkan Othan stated that they are feeling the honor to represent our nation and state abroad and he said that “We are glad and honored to visit the members of Turkish Maarif Foundation, being voluntary educational envoys of our country. We are honored to raise Turkish Flag in the competitions. In the same manner, you also make respectable efforts in order to raise the flag of our country in the places in kilometers of distance from your houses and to represent our nation”. Tunisia Director Murat Yılmaz informed Cadets Judo National Team athletes about the activities of Turkish Maarif Foundation in Tunisia and throughout the world and students of undergraduate programs accompanied him during the visit.
Our national team became champion by obtaining 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals in the international championship with 11 athletes.
