The International Maarif Schools of Tunisia family gathered for a heartfelt Iftar dinner. We were honored by the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ahmet Misbah Demircan, Ambassador of Türkiye to Tunisia, who was accompanied by Mr. Ömer Faruk Terzi, Member of our Board of Trustees, and Dr. Mehmet Cangir, Member of our Board of Directors. Representatives from various Turkish institutions and organizations also attended the event.The Iftar program was further enriched by the presence of our school staff and their families. Following the recitation of the Holy Quran, guests shared a warm and joyful evening together.We extend our sincere gratitude to all those who joined us for this cherished annual tradition, which brings our community together in the spirit of unity and togetherness.

Typically, students choose a topic of interest, formulate a hypothesis, conduct experiments or research, collect and analyze data, and then present their findings to judges (Principals/ Teachers) and other attendees (Parents/ Visitors). This event will provide students with an opportunity to apply scientific principles that they've learned in class to real-world situations, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills. Additionally, our upcoming Science Fair will serve as a platform for students to explore their interests in science and showcase their talents to a wider audience which will offer invaluable benefits to our students such us: Hands-on Learning: They provide students with practical, hands-on experience in scientific inquiry, allowing them to apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems. Critical Thinking: Students learn to think critically, form hypotheses, conduct experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions—all essential skills for success in science and beyond. Creativity and Innovation: Science fairs encourage creativity and innovation as students design their experiments and explore their own scientific interests. Communication Skills: Presenting their projects to teachers and other attendees helps students develop communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms. Children are the soul of the school, and its beating heart with all the energy they carry, the continuous flow of creativity, and the natural and spontaneous emotions they possess. these innocent and sensitive beings can only be dealt with and communicated with through love. through love and care, we explore their creative talents and skills. for this reason, the art subject is considered important, especially in the early stages of a child’s life. Moreover, engaging in artistic activities enriches sensory perception, fosters self-assurance, and cultivates a sense of independence in achieving tasks. Maarif Kindergarten: Developing basic educational knowledge and skills
A child's first encounter with the formal education system takes place in kindergarten, which also forms the basis for lifelong learning. This significant year seeksto meet the developmental needs of children by providing them with a diverse range of things to explore. Teachers are instrumental in ensuring that all activities support children's academic and social growth, taking into account their sociology. Mathematics: Essential Ideas Kindergarten children acquire the fundamental mathematical concepts that will help them in their future school work. They begin by organising objects, finding patterns, counting and classifying objects. Identifying shapes is one of the programme's skills for developing geometric awareness. Grouping objects introduces addition and comparison exercises clarify similarities and differences. Language: Learning to communicate effectively Using phonetics, children can improve their language skills by learning the sound of letters and words. Essential terms such as why, what, how, who, when and where are taught through stories and activities. Children acquire the ability to communicate effectively and articulate their thoughts and opinions through these exercises. Playing and moving: Improving motor skills. Physical activity is a prerequisite for kindergarten. To improve hand-eye coordination and motor skills, children participate in specific exercises and fundamental postural movements. These exercises, which also allow them to have more control over their bodies, are essential for their physical growth. Science: In Search of the World Science lessons teach children about the wonders of the natural world. Topics include weather, ecology, the environment, the significance of water, the sun, moon and earth, matter, sounds, vibrations and life cycles. The aim of these lessons is to stimulate children's curiosity and inspire a love of learning about the world in which they live. Art and music: Promoting ingenuity Through music and art, children can demonstrate their social skills and creativity. Through a series of projects and activities, children develop the ability to work cooperatively, recognise differences in expression and communicate ideas. These subjects have a great impact on their social and emotional development. Overall, the pre-school curriculum is designed to meet a wide range of needs of young learners. It develops their innate creativity, strengthens their social skillsand creates a solid foundation for their future academic achievements. The kindergarten integrates academic courses with physical activity and group activities to prepare children for a lifetime of interest and development.
